Dell has Technical & Service Manuals that will virtually allow you to do anything....here is the link:
Just one thing taking it apart will most likely void your warranty if its still good..

I wish I had a tutorial written from when I did it. I upgraded the screen from the standard LCD to the HD LCD and it was simpler than I thought it would be...

Go there, follow everything to remove the panel from the computer.
Use a small knife or flathead screwdriver to remove the little rubber feet at the bottom of the panel and remove the screws underneath.
Use your hands with fingernails to pull apart the screen, it comes apart fairly easily starting at the bottom.
The panel is held in place by 4 screws, undo them, move the mounting bracket over to the new screen, the connector on the back of the panel pulls right out, and reverse the process for assembly.

Maybe you could/should transfer ownership/warranty...
I've never done it, but looks like it should fly if in the same country.

I have a mini 10 that the screen got cracked a few months ago and I am thinking about fixing it myself. I have found screens online for $75.00 or so, but not sure which one to buy.
