Default USB CF card adapter - 02-21-2010, 06:09 PM

Just an FYI, if any of you are photographers or pro photographers with a DSLR, this compact flash card USB adapter is a godsend: PQI USB 2.0 CompactFlash (CF) Card Reader: Electronics

Spent about an hour looking around Fry's and Best Buy yesterday and couldn't find one of any shape. This one is small, and only $7 on Amazon.

Also noticed the mini 10 falls under the 2GB minimum for Adobe Photoshop Elements. Trying out on the Mini 10 now to see if it will do basic image editing. Seems to work good.

Thanks for the tip! I haven't even considered editing photos on this Mini - but why not in a pinch. Have you looked at Gimp? It's free and pretty powerful - just doesn't quite have the productivity of Photoshop.

depending on what your running check out sites like

Quite a few photo editors out there but like previously said Gimp is probably the most powerful free program available.

And also with GIMP i believe there is a portable version also, might be quite slow but hey its portable.

I use Google Picasa for photo collection/minor editing on my Mini 9. It works well for that. I use the Mini to collect and view photos while on vacation. Serious editing waits till I get back home.
