So I'm considering getting a Mini 10v as a portable dev/project box, and I was looking at Dell's web site. The Mini 10 (1010) comes with a 28 kWhr battery, and the 10v (1011) comes with a 24 kWhr battery. I remember my old Mini 9 had a 28 kWhr battery, and I was wondering if these batteries were interchangeable, i.e., could I use the higher capacity (but still having the slim formfactor) 28 kWhr battery from the 10 in the 10v?
My old Mini 9 would get around 2.5-3 hrs with a 28 kWhr batt (on W7 RC), while my girlfriend's current Mini 10v with 24 kWhr 3-cell battery gets ~2 hrs (currently on W7 Pro). If I get a Mini 10v, I'd like to have at least the same battery life that I had on my old 9.
Sold my Mini 9 for a larger netbook, one that's easier on my wrists and hands.
Current Machine: 2010 MacBook Pro 13", 2.4 GHz C2D, 4GB RAM, Win7 Pro x64/OS X 10.6.3
And I play with my girlfriend's Mini 10v ^_^.
