Default SSD to SATA: Expensive to Cheap - 02-03-2010, 10:19 PM

Hey Everyone,

My Mom haves a Dell Mini 10 (not 10v), with a 8GB SSD, now he (obviously) wants to upgrade the Hard Disk space, and.. i think SSD for she is a waste of time.

So, is possible to install a SATA 160GB Hard Drive from his previous Lenovo ThinkPad?

PS: I never have touched a SSD Hard Drive.

Dell's netbooks use standard 2.5" SATA drives, except the Mini 9 and 12. Your SSD is just a 2.5" SATA drive. Pull it out like any other, and swap any 2.5" drive in (HDD or SSD).
