The laptop will not boot atall - there is nothing on the screen but it does give a few beeps when it tries to start. I tried conecting an external monitor but nothing shows on it either. It was working OK running XP. I removed the disk and it works fine connected to another PC. I came across a message using Google that mentioned using the FN key and End to recover from BIOS upgrade problems. Is there a complete list of instructions on how to recover from the problem I have encountered? Thanks in advance for any replies to this message. |

How many beeps? This is probably indicating the error code which then should be able to be found on Dells support site. D:\duo\320GBHD\2GBRAM\W8DP |
