Hey all (berga.d),
I've got a mini 10 I'm setting up for my wife for Christmas, and I attempted the setFSB overclock from within Windows 7 Premium, but was met with a bluescreen (Bad Pool header I believe it was). It really freaked me out, even as a tech of many, many years, as the Stop Error recurred even upon rebooting, and even booting to Safe Mode. Even the Startup Repair failed with a Stop Error. I eventually powered the machine off and back on again and all was fine (is powering off entirely the only thing which resets the FSB setting I suppose?), thank goodness.
But I don't know where I went wrong and am EXTREMELY wary of making a second attempt considering how close to Christmas we are. I really wish I could get HD video working so the USB TV tuner I bought for her would work well with it. Any ideas?
