I'm in search of a basic notebook or netbook where I can stream videos that use the flash player such as Crunchyroll and Funimation so I can view them on a TV using the hdmi connection. I've read mixed about the Mini 10 but wanted to ask the folks here for their opinion on how well it'd work? Crunchyroll for example does offer HD video/720p for some of their shows, but I'm really just looking for basic SD playback of episodes.

My opinion? Wait... This netbook have the capabilities to stream flash videos up to 1080p through HDMI... BUT only when a driver will support flash 10.1 DXVAdecoding completely,I think it'sa matter of maximum two months. However you can download these shows through some Firefox addon and watch them in a player...

I'm not so concerned about the 1080p at the moment, I just want to make sure the SD versions will since many shows only have an SD streaming broadcast. If it can handle this well, then I'll grab the machine and be even happier when the 10.1 update does come through.

Now it can't show well neither sd streams, sorry... I have found a trick, but only for youtube... If you are in hurry you should consider buying a ION netbook, or a GMA950 one with the broadcom decoder installed.
