which atom processor is fastest? I always thougt z530 is the fastest am I wrong?

Intel's marketing is confusing, and almost fraud.

A Z530 is faster than lesser numbered Z series Atoms, but compared to the N-series, it's equal to the common N270. Compared to the no-letter series used in desktops, it's equal to a 230.

The N280 is faster. And the 330 desktop chip is far faster (since it's essentially 2 Atom CPUs).

If you want more info, Wikipedia has a list of Atom CPUs. Be aware that the list includes faster, future CPUs.

Nice, chart, so I see the Z530 has Intel Virtualization Technology. With 1GB RAM, how much virtualization can you do, or what am I missing?
