It doesn't show up in My Computer in Windows 7. If it's installed, it should appear in Devices and Printers, but I don't think there's a default application that will let you view it -- you need an application that will use the webcam.

If you just want to run something like Skype. for example, you should find that it all works fine under Windows 7, without having to load any additional drivers or anything like that.
You can check out the video, as well as making a free test call to prove that all is well with the sound also.

Hi, When I bought my dell mini 9 it shipped with Ubuntu 9xx I believe. Went and purchased windows7 to install on the mini which went through flawlessly. The only thing is that my webcam does not show up in the list of devices in the device manager. No Imaging group or any hardware with an exclamation mark or anything. I do recall the webcam working with a program called cheese in Ubuntu. Its just for some reason it seems like its disconnected or just never detected. I looked in the bios and there was no enable/disable option for an onboard webcam. Does anyone else have any sugguestions how I can get this to work? remember, there is no devices listed in the device manager that could be my webcam. I even as far downloaded the dell webcam center and there is an error message that states there is no supported camera detected. Please help thanks.
