Hi,
I tried the new IEGD 10.3 driver and 1080p HD playback works fine on my GMA500 based netbook.

Only problem remaining that Hibernation won't work on XP Prof SP3.
It hibernates without a problem but on resuming the screen stays black.

Anyone else with this behaviour ?
Is there a workaround possible or won't the IEGD drivers support Hibernation ?

Trancemaster, unfortunately I can confirm that behaviour on my mini with XP. Not so nice since this one solved my crashing mpc issue :/

Ideas anyone?

Btw:
Are you able to disable your display after 1min idle time (in energy options) ?

Mine won't do so with the IEGD drivers...

Didn't check, but already have switched back to my last working driver since I really use hibernation a lot!

OK,
hibernation & power saving won't work with the IEGD driver.
Not that big problem for me...

Is it possible to adjust brightness etc. via gamma settings ?
Tried some programs but none of them work.

Seems the IEGD driver won't recognize any change.

yes you should adjust brightness trough its configuration panel... It didn't work?

Can you use this driver in Win7?

For my XP Installation I used Driverpacks to integrate latest GMA500 driver from Intel. After that all suspend/gamma were working except OpenGL / FullHD video acceleration.

With the IEGD 10.3 driver I haven't got a configuration panel where
I could adjust brightness/gamma etc.
So I had to test external tools for this use.

Btw:
I tried iRotate yesterday evening to rotate my screen 180° but won't work like the gamma tools, too

No, I haven't tested the driver on Win7.
Decided to stay with XP on my netbook because I'm not
happy with the new UI in Win7.
So the use of Win7 is on my desktop for DirectX10+ games only.
