I haven't seen anyone saying they use Vista, but then again I haven't really looked. I am not sure why anyone would want to try given that it doesn't run all that well on some desktops. However, Win7 runs just fine on the Mini and all of the factory items work great. I have run into a few other things with driver problems but it is only a few random things.

Hi... It is possible to install Windows Longhorn on a Dell Mini 10v. You have to take the HDD out of the 10v then put it in a different computer... I used a desktop. You install Longhorn onto that then put the HDD back in the 10v, then you can install the XP drivers to it.

But who would want to do that in 2013? Windows 7 or 8 is so much better than Vista. I don't know why you would have to take the disk out, though.
