My new Mini 10 with 3G and TV tuner arrived 2 days ago and it is now running Windows 7 U full release and other than a few issues getting the 3G card working all great. If fact i am writing this on it now.

I have loaded a number of other useful software;
Office 2007 only loaded the main ones I wil be using so have excel, word, powerpoint.

Garmin Laptop with maps for both europe and the USA ready for traveling this wiith my bluetooth gps unit seems to work well will try this out next week in the car.

I had issues with anti-vuris software as I normaly run Sophos but this just slow the mini down to much have now gone for avast which seams to be much lower on system.

I have now copied over my music and photos and still have 70GB to play with I guess I should put some work files on this as they did buy this Mini for me when traveling to work on my e-mails but most of this is done through a thin client called Citrix back to head office hence the 3G card.

I have turned some of the features off on Windows 7 but not much if any one has any ideas I would be most greatfull to here as always like to have a fiddle to see if I can improve things.

Hi how did you get the GPS to work in Win 7...mine will not load any drivers i have found to date...

follow this link it is a great help, my GPS works but can't get a fix in the car only out side I guess the placment is't great I normally use my bluetooth unit now as this gets a fix in side.

I hoe this help. it help me. I wouls suggest read first as at the end is easier methods.
