No, it's new... Intel made a mess with build numbers. You can look at the date of the driver. You must install with the compatibility mode, or manually from the device manager

Windows 7 updates gets a newer driver than this so I would suggest just using the update.

When looking at Windows 7 GMA500 driver version numbers, look at the DATE, not the version number. Somewhere along the line the version numbers got messed up. Check the date in the device/driver properties of the Device Manager.

The newest driver I have seen is the one from Intel's web site, dated 6/23/09 (and released 8/10/09), as mentioned at the top of this topic. It seems to be running better than the other ones I've seen, most of which are dated December 2008 or earlier.
