Just got a new 30GB OCZ Vertex SSD
(SATA) plugged into the USB port. Tried to use Ghost 14 to copy the internal 160GB drive contents out to the SSD
, but Ghost doesn't see the SSD
. Windows Disk Manager sees the 30GB unallocated space but the option to create New Partition... is grayed out. If I move the drive over to my main Inspiron 6400 laptop, I have no problem partitioning and formatting, so it's not the SSD
I've read some things that say SSD
's are not compatible with Mini 10? or that XP detects that SSD
's are "too fast" and assumes they are memory instead of disk storage devices?
