Default Mini 10 HD screen - reflectivity - 07-15-2009, 01:00 PM

I wondered if some people who have the Mini 10 with the high resolution 1366 x 768 screen could comment on:

- is it a glossy screen?

- do you find reflections to be a problem? (e.g. in well lit rooms, public transport, outdoors)

The screen is a bit glossy, it works fine in a well let room but not so good outside in the sun.

I found it a bit hard to use outdoors..... but is is a beautiful screen.

I purchased a nice screen protector for mine....

It is the DayVue screen that cuts down on glare and I think makes the screen so much better.

Especially outdoors.

Thanks guys - that's useful info. Mind at rest; Mini 10 ordered! Good to know about the filter too if it does become a problem.

Good decision

The glossy screen is shiny and is quite bright when turned upto 100%.

The glossy bezel loves finger prints tho!
