| Junior Member Posts: 18 Join Date: Sep 2009 | Doesn't matter, couldn't get it past the splash screen after install! But that meant playing with Ubuntu sooner and you were dead right. The desktop version was usable on first boot, after doing your updates it was very impressive. If I can get my USB tv tuner to work in Ubuntu with a decent DVB app then I won't bother going back to Windows on the Mini! |

I checked and tried to remove Maximus but it looks like that wasn't installed in the first place when I installed 9.04... so one good thing. But I don't see 'Classic' desktop theme under System --> Preferences --> Appearance. It's set to default 'Human' Theme and I have sent the Effects to 'None' . Is there another place to change / optimize ? | |
