I have several Vertex SSDs and love 'em. Got the last one, a 30GB, a month or so ago for around $99 when Newegg ran a special and a rebate. The new RunCore Pro IV uses the same Indilinx controller as the Vertex and it is supposed to be comparable. If it is, then below the Intel (still the best) would be the RunCore and the Vertex when it comes to performance.

I read it twice when it first came out
I know the Vertex has awesome performance. But i still think its an overkill for the mini. It performs better than the CPU can handle. no?
Wish they had a 16gb which would be cheaper..
