And you get to witness my shoddy camera skills and my bald head. I feel bad for you all. Click here to read the entire tutorialTriple Boot Guide - 10v RAM Upgrade Videos - mechdrew's OSX guides |

| Fantastic video! I actually did like the tone and pace of your voice, btw. Found it very calming, especially since I was getting nervous thinking about opening up the mini. |

| Glad to hear it. I think I'm rather monotone, but I was intentionally trying to go slow as well, to explain but also so people could follow along (at least, I think I was). ![]() I am thrilled to hear that so many have found it helpful!

| I watched the whole video a good 3 or 4 times before my memory arrived, and by the time I started the operation, I already knew exactly what to do without instruction. The palm rest and palm bracket were easily the most difficult pieces to disassemble, as they were thin plastic and I was afraid of breaking them. The install went extremely smoothly thanks to your video. Cheers! |

| worked like a charm, thanks for the video. It definitely made it much more reassuring once I started piling up screws. And I'm pretty sure the little wire you unclip next to the speaker clip is for the battery/power indicator light. |

| For only $2 more, wouldn't this be a better buy than the one which is linked? 2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400 upgrades for Dell Inspiron Mini 10v (1011) Netbook, CT979198 from Crucial.com |

| I just wanted to say thanks for the detailed video. The install took me a little over an hour. It would've been 40 minutes sooner, but I was installing SL via external hdd enclosure at the same time ![]() |

| Yep cheers for your time & effort - much appreciated! What I did was download & convert your vid along with another one I found on youtube & transferred them both to my iphone. Then from there took the iphone, my little baby (10v aww!) to a quiet area in the house & preformed the OP (making sure the area was free from contamination, dust, Children, ect.. lol)

| OK I'm a girl with a little bit of experience taking computers apart. I was a little hesitant to take the new 10v apart to put in the RAM, but I went slow and followed your great instructions. Thanks so much. I took it apart and put it together and voila! The computer recognized the new RAM. Now for the Snow Leopard install.... Thanks so much for your help. I really could not and probably would not have attempted the upgrade. |
