| I successfully downgraded to A04 and installed Snow Leopard. I updated to 10.6.2 and am wondering if I could upgrade my bios to A06. Has anyone done this yet? My netbook is working perfectly now on A04 except the battery life. I heard that upgraded to A06 can improve battery life. Does anyone know if A06 is stable with 10.6.2 with everything working? |

| I followed the steps, plugged my flash drive into the mini and went to boot from it. Skipped over it and went right into Windows. Now when I plug my flash drive in, it dings like my computer is reading it. Then nothing happens. I can't go back into my drive to format it and try again. what did I do wrong? Can i fix it? |

Update: here's an A05 BIOS for the 1011 (mini 10v) from the European site. http://support.euro.dell.com/support...&fileid=325919 Any reason I shouldn't use this? Thx. |

| Max_Carnage, You're my hero! The process was quick and painless although it took almost a minute to reboot on its own. Much props to you and the forum! Sal |
