You will need a machine with Windows on it to prep your flashdrive though.

I just used your download file and it WORKED! took me a couple minutes to find the winphlash program, but then it was very easy, and no beeping for 5 minutes. I show A05 now, so I am off to do the snow leopard on 10v for a friend. THANKS! this method should have it's own sticky. chewy |

| I am having the exact same problem. Trying this on a Dell Inspiron Mini 1010 IM10v-USE032AM from Amazon. Looks to be a 10v with a built in tv tuner. Thanks for any help. |

| You're having the same problem because you're trying to downgrade a Dell Mini 10 and the BIOS is for a Dell Mini 10v. These two models are not the same. The Mini 10v is 1011 and Mini 10 is 1010. Mini 10v does not have HDMI or TV tuner.

| Looking at the Dell download area, I notice only A04 is available in a DOS version. To upgrade to A05 do you have to use the Windows Update Bios program or is there another method? I'm assuming you do, so you would have to be running a Windows OS (XP, Vista or Windows 7)? Are there any problems with leaving the Bios at A04 for OSX SL? Or should it be at A05?
