Well headphones and line-in work after sleep...but the built in mic does not. There currently is no way to get the internal speakers/mic working after sleep except for voodoo I believe, which is very buggy on the 10v and has many problems of its own(voodoo is only the speakers though, no mic or headphones). When a workaround or new set or drivers is released, I will update this guide accordingly.

Updated the guide with how to change the bootloader theme for you! can't believe I left that out in the first place. Just download the themes.zip and extract it to the extras folder on your HDD and reboot.

I did make a patched netbook installer, however it seemed that netbook installer would give me mixed results...sometimes audio drivers would work and sometimes they wouldn't...sometimes hibernation would work and sometimes it wouldn't. I found however that dellefi 1.1 worked everytime with sleep and audio. SO I modified it to use in this guide! Not to mention the trackpad driver from dellefi 1.1 is wonderfull, drag and drop works right out of the box.

Hi Team, Had everything working except sound in 10.5.7.

When I got to step 4 "deleting sleep" the terminal asked my to type in my password, but the keyboard would not respond so had to cancel. Tried safe and normal boot modes. Any ideas?

Installed kexts but no go and tap-and-drag feature of trackpad which was already bad has gone completely as well.

Tried repairing the permissions but still can't get the terminal to let me type password. Any suggestions?

you should be able to skip step 4 and come back to it after you have finished everything else, it is not needed to continue.

Umm.. Internal mic works just fine for me after sleep using lnxneo's method for getting the audio to work. I just tested it, and I've had my 10v go to sleep multiple times since I rebooted the other day.

hmm well then perhaps it does!? I tried recording something in photobooth after sleep a minute ago, but now that you mentioned this, I tried it again and it worked! Go figure

wow glad to see it worked with 10.5.8, but I can't give any advice for that because I haven't tried it out yet. Perhaps head over to the OSX section and check out the few 10.5.8 threads running over there
