All, I just got my mini 10! Here are some pics of the 6 cell battery.





My mini 10 also has the HD screen as well and I must say that its really sharp. I'm in the process of loaded windows 7 on it.

Same "leg" thingy as the Mini 12... I guess if you don't mind the protuberance in exchange for the "extra" hours... In my case I want a Mini just because it is mini so I'll stick to the standard 3 cells...

Yeah, it also hit portablemonkey.com.

After some testing, it get about 5 1/2 to 6 hours of battery life. This just with normal web browsing, couple of youtube videos, hulu, and some word processing. Not too bad, but I'm hating that is sticks out so much.

I try to do some more further testing to get a better read on battery.

Hmm. I can get almost 4 hours on the 3-cell with an SSD (up from 2 1/2 hours). Now Dell is offering a larger (28WHr) 3-cell with Ubuntu. I doubt that even that combination could approach your battery life of 5 1/2 - 6 hrs. Good battery life but I hear ya about not liking the bulkiness.
