I posted under where these were mentioned in the news section but here goes again.

800 x 480 resolution (same the Streak 5) = fail (Samsung Galaxy tab 1024 x 600).

Can't make normal phone call = fail

Now I see it has the PDMI port on it. Will Dell have some sort of Power / HDMI cable in one? If not then how would you charge it whilst playing back to a TV or would you need a docking station?

It does look nice though.

And how about Dell bringing out a dummy 10" version and saying it'll be available next year - i.e. 2012 when other companies will be bringing out their Mk 2 pads.

A lot of interest now will be to see how the new tablets shape up vs iPad 2 when that is out.

Congratulations Dell you've managed to come last even before the thing is released.

The only hope provided was the statement that Dell will be supporting Honeycomb (Android 3) on the 7, will they parallel develop for the 5?

Playing catch up with the others with, surprisingly, Motorola in the lead, see the Xoom.

Jesus, I hope that is a pre-production model... even then it's pretty awful. Anyone who has tried that model out isn't going to buy one are they? It's a total fail.

The only positives I can say about it are that aesthetically, it's a nice looking device... and it will support honeycomb, which looks great...

Really though dell. That streak 7 does not look ready... why did you bother showing it to people? You'd have been better off with a picture and leaving people guessing...

Yeah, lol.

At least with a picture you can imagine how good it could be... rather than finding out how rubbish it actually is...

Most of the problems with it would be sorted with some proper, non-skinned, non-bloated software, much like the Streak has come leaps and bounds since stock 1.6.

The screen res is a bit of a kick in the teeth though
