The manuals seem to require flash because they have pretty hilights and such to point out part locations. I found them easy to follow, par for the course with Dell. The 2100 makes it a bit harder to take apart than say, a mini 9 or E1505/6400, but I suspect this is in the intrest of durability and spill-proofing. I replaced my wireless card (since dell had shipped the wrong one in the laptop) with little trouble, though pushing up the keyboard proved to be a bit of a challenge. I ended up using a bent paperclip to stuff into the screw hole, and that worked fine.
