Ok is44c, I need to install and I dont have a mac. Do you have this modded version available in an IMG to use as an NBI flash drive?

I am so frustrated that I cant get the 2100 to see my install media at all. It sees my NBI flash, but it just shows the linux partition and the HDD.

ANy ideas?

Default SL trial unsuccessfully - iDeneb 1.4 works - 05-10-2010, 09:08 AM

Hi all,

just want to share that already try to install Mac OS X SL 10.6.2 but it shown warning need to power OFF the computer. This is due to SL 10.6.2 have compatibility issue with Netbook (Atom Processor).

At last successfully install iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 using virtual machine that was downloaded from net, seet his article:
iDeneb v 1.4 10.5.6 Available for Download. | OSX86

Detail procedure please got to:
Latitude 2100 Netbook Instructions - HOW TO - InsanelyMac Forum

i'm installing all except procedure 1 only install default value just go next without "select customized with Netbook MSI Wind and Kexthelper check marked".

Be aware when screen goes black during initial setup, just close the lid and open back, the display will come again.

Then iDeneb screen come in.

After Procedure no 2 to 4, when reboot again i cannot see the screen due to black again. when i close and re-open the lid only blue screen come in.

Then i hook up to external monitor it works fine.

I still having problem to use the Latitude 2100 LCD itself. Please Advise.

Need to find the virtual machine image. keep goggling but you need another pc/laptop (min 2Gb RAM because MacOSx itself need 1Gb Ram) loaded with VMWare virtual machine. i also have no mac, only pc. download the VMware image 10.5.6 should be fine.
