Mike,

Glad you're here. You never know when we'll need an IT guru!!

I'm with you on the Dell Duo. It runs great with Windows 8. I just wish Dell would have put a little better hardware in it. Some of the programs in the store will not work on it. I can't wait for this Christmas. I plan on updating to a new convertible tablet. I just hope Dell has something awesome up their sleeve. Oh, and not to freaking expensive!!

Well, again welcome and I might take you up on a complete restore package. Might be good to have if I decide to sell it once I have a replacement device.

Thanks for the support on your side!!

Hi guys . I have a concern with my dell inspiring duo. I just recently bought my duo. I installed win8 on it right away. I find its more smooth and the overall tablet experience is much better on win8. However, I'm having problems opening the apps. None of the apps seem to start, once I click one, it shows the boot image of the app and goes back to the main menu. I know this is just a preview version of the duo but I was wondering if any1 s having the same problem as me? Is this normal or did I do something wrong during the installation?

The dock and the touchscreen works fine for me idont have any other issues except this

Is it every program or just some programs that you have downloaded from the Marketplace?

I have the same problem. Installed the program (duo-station) from the dell website. When I dock the duo, the light comes on, the sound works, all the ports are recognized and work, but there is nothing else; no alarm clock etc. Is there another piece of software necessary to get this to work? Any help appreciated.
I would also love to find a way to enlarge all text some without enlarging everything.

Hi.
Is there a way to use the Windows 8 Metro Keyboard on Windows 7? The Virtual Keyboard of Windows 7 is way too unreliable to use for typing more than one word. I am not able to find a decent third party solution for free. The Zero Weight Keyboard is a lot better than the Win7-Keyboard, but it also has some issues.
