Default Christmas is coming! (And so is my Duo) - 12-13-2011, 04:24 PM

While I'm technically not supposed to know it, I do because I ordered it I'm getting a Duo for Xmas this year. I've done some research on tablets & decided upon this one as I really like the idea of a full-fledged operating system with a keyboard. So my plans are this:

1. Before powering it up for the first time, get a copy of CloneZilla on bootable USB and clone the drive, exactly as is.

2. I'll give Dell's crap a try, but I know I'm not going to like it.

3. Probably get a Dell OEM install disc & install fresh, then layer thinix on top of it.

4. Not averse to Ubuntu, but only going to consider that if #3 proves inadequate for whatever reason.

Any thoughts for me?
