Default quick office for duo? - 11-03-2011, 06:36 AM

Is it possible to put the quickoffice on the Dell Duo? my grandson ended up taking my Duo and he was able to put angry birds on there, but was not able to find the quick office for it. He is now broke so trying to but the Windows 2010 is out of his range right now, but the lady at Best Buy told him about this quickoffice for 19.99.

any suggestions really appreciated.

He is in love with this Duo so I can't take it back now. : 0 )

Nope, no quickoffice for Windows 7. You can install YouWave, which is an android emulator, and run the android version of quickoffice there. Angry Bird has been ported to most OS, including Windows 7.

Though I don't really see why he cannot use OpenOffice.

LibreOffice is free. A little slower on the Duo than I'd personally like. If all you want is a Word Processor then try AbiWord (also free) as it runs a lot faster. There is also a free ad-support version of Office 2010 I believe.
