Instead of changing the dpi, you can roll your thumb or index finger to the side and click things with your lateral nail skin, it is much more accurate than using your fingertips.

Changing the DPI does help out allot. It makes the icons and menu a little bigger. Especially the OK and cancel button in the menu. An other buttons too.

That's exactly how I've been doing it, seems to work well so far.
