Default only 2 fingers? - 02-17-2011, 07:18 PM

Hello I have a Inspiron duo and in the web page said Multitouch but only detect 2 fingers

exist some configuration or software to detect more than 2 fingers?

no unfortunately you can only use 2 fingers max on the inspiron duo. If you go into the system properties in windows it tells you this. whilst it is technically multi touch it would have been better for more. but i suppose i can live with it.

Have had mine for a few days and am overall impressed with it, but somewhat disappointed in the pinch to zoom feature... it's as if it's on time delay by a few seconds. Scrolling is a bit of a letdown as well.
Otherwise, it's handled everything I've done on it so far quite well. Even extensive flash sites are no problem.

Use firefox for good scrolling. ijs.

IE8 is fine at scrolling and there's no need for additional browsers if you like ie8. The added services that seem to be running on this machine really do cripple the machine. I have two Duo's in front of me and I'll post up a full rundown asap.

I believe there is significant difference in finger scrolling on sites like engadget between ie and firefox.

Seconded. IE is my preferred browser elsewhere, but the improved performance of firefox is definately noticeable
