Hello..

I have a 1110 SU4100. It is a great laptop that I have upgraded the ram and have a SSD 60G installed running 12.04 Ubuntu.

The problem is my fat fingers don't like that keyboard. I noticed that the newer 11z has a different style keyboard that has received some good reviews.

Any idea if it would be a direct replacement into the case and the cable work?

Hi Omaha,

The 11Z keyboard is not a direct replacement for the 1110 keyboard that you have . So it cannot be replaced . As both keyboards are physically different and will not fit in other systems chassis.

Thank you for the reply. The new style key caps are reviewed very positively over the older 11z keyboard. I find it very difficult to type on it.
