Default 11z Overclock? ?Clock gen for setfsb - 03-12-2010, 10:21 PM

I was wondering if anyone with an 11z had seen the PLL or clock gen for the 11z or where it might be on the motherboard. I know the Mx11 can overclock the same processor to 1.6ghz... it would kinda rock to overclock our processor to 1.6ghz.

The 'freeware' one is the last version the author did for free... From here on in it's going to cost to get the more modern version with better support for new clock chips.

Either way, NEITHER of them support our particular clock generator, the ics9lprs387bklf.

Just donated, once I get my key, I'll let you know.

Wow! The SetFSB guy has amazing support. He replied so fast and was very prompt on helping me with my purchase.

He said however, that with the 11z, it has TME enabled and it cannot be disabled using software. He directed me here:
PLL Pinmod Overclocking Methods and Examples

Looks like I would have to tear into my 11z again and bridge some connections. He offered to refund my donation but I told him to keep it for the quality of support. Anyone have any ideas on how to bypass the TME? Looks like it might be more trouble then it's worth. I was planning on getting my Celeron 723 from 1.2Ghz to 1.4Ghz (so it would essentially be a 743).
