I read some guides on the site about dual bootin with win7 and sl.. but I also see that they were for the mini's and that were problems with some of the bios versions.

I'm wondering if anyone who owns a 11z is dual-bootin w7 and sl ... did you have any particular issues or were you able to follow the guides on this site pretty much?

What about drivers and such for sl? I'm not a huge mac user in general though i've done my share (just don't have the technical depth know-how as the pc)... but I'd like to try my hand at some iphone/itouch app development.

The chipset in the 11z isn't supported by OS X and would need some to major hacking to get it to work.

The Mini 9 and 10v share a chipset used by Apple in earlier Macs, hence the (relative) compatibility.

The chipset (ICH9M/E) works fine, but it's the Intel X4500 IGP that is not supported. I'm curious... What resolution are you running SL at? I would expect that Core Image and Quartz Extreme are not hardware accelerated - maybe 1024x768 max.

No thank you, I prefer an OS that supports the hardware 100% thanks. You're welcome to start a thread in the OSX subboard to share your knowledge though.
