But now that I've seen it was at $399, I want to get it for $399! Patiently waiting for a price drop for now... |

| Retired Mini user Posts: 1,577 Join Date: Oct 2008 | If you have to order it today, I would get into an online chat with a sales rep and calmly point out that it is listed for $399 in three different places, including twice on the dell.com homepage (its in the rotating graphic as well.) I did yesterday and the rep offered to adjust the price. And if you get a rep that won't lower the price, find one that will. |

| Senior Member Posts: 115 Join Date: Feb 2009 | Looks like they changed the price to a final-ish $449. They changed all their promo graphics on the front & product pages to say "starting at $449." I still want one though, and if I get enough from the sale of my Mini 9, I'll buy one. It comes to $445 total, w/ student discount, tax, and free shipping. But, I do hope they offer some kind of promo pricing when options and configurations start showing up. Can't give up hope just yet. Dell messed up badly with me, if they would have came out with the 2GB option sooner, my entire family would have gotten one. Now they launch the 11z with not much to it and with 2GB, my family once again is waiting for updated features before buying. Bad marketing on Dell. |
