Default Ubuntu Root Password - 11-18-2008, 03:30 AM

Does the mini9 ship with a default root password on Ubuntu? I know the first time I turned it on, it asked me to set up my user account, but there seem to be certain features I can't get to without a root login and I can't seem to figure out what the password is.

Ubuntu does not use a root password. But you have sudo privileges. Do "sudo whatever" for a single command, or "sudo su -" to get a root prompt.

Retype new Unix password:
