I used that method as well and got my Mini 9 working as a Hackintosh within no time.

A few suggestions from personal experience:

1) The guide recommends a minimum 8GB thumb drive for your OSX disk, but try to get a larger one if you can. It seems that a lot of 8GB thumb drives end up being a little bit less than that when formatted, which makes putting OSX on it a real pain.

2) If you can, make sure your PC can access the Internet while you're working on the installation. I ran into a few hiccups along the way, and the forum was invaluable in getting answers within seconds.

Good luck, and have fun! The end result is absolutely worth it!

Did they change that guide? I don't see a part G on there. I want to install OS X on my netbook but I don't have a mac to prepare the USB drives with. Can anyone please help?
