Default Question about a 16GB SDHC card - 04-18-2009, 09:38 AM

I bought a 16GB SDHC card for the sole purpose of using it with my Mini 9. Problem is on my Dell Dimension E510 I have a Teac USB HS-SD Card reader and the card only goes halfway in and it doesn't seem to recognize the card. I realize this question may be more about my desktop computer than the Mini, but I can't copy the programs I want to the mini without the answer to how do I get my E510 to recognize the 16G card.

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

What OS is the Dimension running? If it's running XP, is it updated to SP3?

In the worst case, you may need a new card reader, which shouldn't be more than $15.

The easy fix is to use a USB flash drive or transfer the files wirelessly.
