Default installing XP pro on my mini 9 Problems - 04-17-2009, 12:31 AM

I have purchased a new mini 9 with the stock 4gb with Ubuntu. I purchased the 32 gb RUNCORE ssd and when I try to install the XP Pro OS i get a 000000007B error after loading files. I am using an IOMEGA external DVD to load my XP pro disc( it is an older version, but has a real key and everything is legit.) Can someone help me with this installation of XP Pro on my 32 GB runcore SSD.

Many thanks in advance.

That's a fairly general error. If possible, you may want to try installing from a USB key. I have read of issues with some USB optical drives, and that could be the case. I personally haven't tried installing from a USB optical drive and have only done installs from USB keys (XP Home, XP Pro and Windows 7 so far).

HTH some.
