Default How do I remove the XP and Intel Inside stickers? - 03-27-2009, 02:20 AM

I picked up a refurbed Mini 12 on the cheap and am really happy with it. How do I remove those stupid Intel Inside and Microsoft XP stickers?!? GAH! It's like a pair of zits on an otherwise pretty face! I want them OFF! But I want to make sure I don't scratch or damage my new netbook.

What's the trick for safely removing them?

I'd like to get those stickers off the bottom of the case too, come to think of it.

There are a few threads where people have used Goof Off, isopropyl alcohol, etc. to remove the stickers and adhesive.

A fingernail worked for me along with Isopropyl Alcohol to clean the residue off.

Use Goo Gone. $3 bottle from your nearest hardware store.

I've used the hairdryer/fingernail/goo gone method on numerous systems and can enthusiastically endorse the process. Easy and clean with no damage done.
