Default I installed a 2gb memory upgrade so how - 03-21-2009, 12:03 AM

do I check to make sure the Mini and the os (unbuntu) see it? I don't really want to continue making changes until I know the memory is good.

Thanks!

If you press 2 during the initial boot screen (Dell logo), you can go into the BIOS and see the memory size there. I'm sure Ubuntu has a way to display it but I don't know what that would be.

Go to a terminal and run "cat /proc/meminfo", will tell you how much memory Linux thinks you have.
