Default Woohoo! - It has arrived - 03-06-2009, 03:28 PM

I'm excited, and I think i got a great deal:

Mini-9 XP Home
1 MB Ram (just got back from Fry's with a 2MG stick for ~$20 with a $10 rebate)
16 GB HD
Bluetooth
1.3 Camera

Scratch and Dent for $253.94

All I can see are a couple very light scratches on the top -- I'd probly put them there myself after a week.

Now i need to load it up, might do a Hackintosh later.

Any opinions on load apps directly on it, or using the apps from http://portableapps.com/? I kinda like the idea of an portable install.

Thoughts?

With a 16 GB HDD you should have enough room to install your OS and your primary apps with some room left over for a litte music/document storage. What OS are you using and what apps are you wanting to install?

You may want to condense that list to a smaller one, think about using programs like pidgin instead of using multiple IM clients not only will this save space it will save system resources.
