Default Realtek Audio driver - 03-04-2009, 03:22 PM

Is the Realtek Audio driver really necessary or can it be deleted and use the standard XP audio drivers?

I think you'll find that the driver is needed, but perhaps not the "sound manager" application or whatever it is called. What problem do you have with the drivers?

No problems with the driver, just looking for unnecessary stuff to be deleted to free up space...
