Yep just got off the dell chat after ordering my new dell mini 9.

That discount is because i found a k-12 discount for staff and my dads a elementary teacher so that was a nice $50 off, i think it came out to about $530 including tax and shipping.

Also the nice thing was that since i ordered it with a sales associate assisting (for the discount) i got to skip all processing so its now confirmed already and will be shipped A TON sooner.

Also went the $86 for a external DVD so i can hackint0sh
Well yeah i know i can use a 8gb flash drive but i still wanted a dvd drive to be safe


So what d'ya think? I used to LOATHE netbooks but now they seem as a little bit better temporary option until i get a laptop for college and i dont want to use my family desktop as a primary computer as well as my dell inspiron 5100 is dying.

Good system, money must not an issue for you as some of those upgrades could have been done on your own for cheaper.

I too just ordered one (scratch/dent form the Dell Outlet), so I too will soon be have fun Hackintosh-ing this new toy.

thanks and actually at the last minute my dad was just like, well if youre going to get a computer at least get something good so he added about $100 to it haha. if it were up to me i wouldnt have the webcam or bluetooth lol
