Default Office 2007 - 03-02-2009, 02:30 AM

I'm buying a mini 9 (1 GB/ 16 GB) as soon as I get my refund, which I'm very excited about and I will be primarily be using it during class / downtime as I commute into school.

My question there a way that I can load just word and power point on the mini without installing the other programs (outlook, excell, onenote)? I don't need the other programs, but I would like to have word and pp. Is this possible?

I assume you mean Office 2007, unless you're going to install OS X on it.

You can do a Custom install of Office and get just the pieces you want.

The last time I installed Office 2007 I just installed Word, Outlook and Powerpoint. Custom install works fine. I even installed it to an SD card, saving SSD space and it runs with plenty of speed and no glitches.

I run office xp 2007. I have word and power point. Works perfect.

I copied the cd files into an sd card and then installed to my mini9.

1 gig ram
