I agree - I've read this over repeatedly and both are identical. We give up - what's the difference? :?

who knows..maybe its the quality control? the fineness of the tools being used? the conditions of the factories the drives are made in? it could be a whole slew of variables.. just my guesses cuz if the materials are identical, but the resulting drives are different, then the problem's gotta lie somewhere in between.

I think the real difference is that the thread starter has smoked crack and we have not.
