Can any body expalin how to install xp in my dell 1012

You can install with an external CD or USB. I would wait for Holmes4 though, he knows Windows a lot better than I do.

Hopefully you have the Win XP install disk.

Do you have a legal copy of XP? Is it a Dell Restore CD or a Microsoft install CD?
