Smile Bloatware Dell Inspiron Duo - 07-09-2011, 11:20 AM

Hi,
I have just bought a dell inspiron duo and have heard that a lot of programs can be removed to improve the performance.
I have tried looking on threads but its all too technical for me!
I would appreciate an idiots guide to removing bloatware please!
I'm scared that I am going to remove programs that are essential.
Thanks!

you could just reload windows from a USB install, it only has Windows 7 starter installed on it (which is pretty restricted anyway) and most people upgrade to Win 7 Ultimate or Win 7 Pro which will wipe out all the bloatware also...you can search for instructions on how to reload windows from USB....search for 'WinsetupfromUSB'
