I have the combo update, it's HUGE.

I got slick about it and shoved the 668mb package on my 16gb usb flash, but I still need half a gig and there is nowhere to get it. (update, I tricked it and made it happen )

I've got everything back perfect. v7 BL, 10.5.6 FW, sound, wifi, sleeps like a baby and wakes up with sound and everything great. Dare I say short of missing the 2 finger scrolling and not ignoring the trackpad like I ask it to, it runs..... well like my Macbook. Upgrade went well with some creative compressing and moving around to external usb drives.

Still can't get that darn trackpad to ignore input when a mouse is present...... I end up typing on a completely different sentence that I intended to.

But she's running nice on 10.5.6

Not too shabby for someone who never saw or read about a hackintosh until yesterday and started from scratch.

That is SUPER. I am glad you were able to get it to work. . Sleep should be working fine for you now. EVEN sound on wake from sleep. It is good that you were able to find the information here to help you out.

Thanks.....Ya, I'm happy

Have people been talking about or working on the ignore trackpad when mouse is present thing? Seems like a mouse script would be an easier task to handle than what they've been through already.

UnaClocker proposed in this thread to :

If you disable trackpad tap clicking altogether, the problem will go away.
but I have not tried it. You could give that a shot.
