Default Mini 9 Question - 03-22-2011, 01:43 AM

I have a mini 9 and dont want to spring to buy a new ssd for it. Is it possible to use a regular external usb drive and install 10.6 osx on it? I know it seems strange to ask this question but I thought I might give it a try.

I dunno about OSX, but Linux will work off a flash drive.

OS X will run from a USB drive. If you have further questions, ask in the Mac OS X section of our forum.
