I'm glad that I decided to get the lighter 1012 instead. Not keen on that weight on a small platform. Thanks for the update.

I've used Dell for ordering pcs since the late 90's, a half dozen times or so, and find the products a great value but the (free) assisted service lacking, but not worse than most of Dell's competitor's. Plan on doing most of the legwork (research, googling, etc) yourself if you want to ensure you get good Dell service.
